Chevrolet Equinox

The Equinox offers a spacious cabin, cutting-edge technology, an affordable price, and advanced safety features. It competes with the Mazda CX-5, Subaru Forester, and Kia Soul in the Kenyan market. Models manufactured between 2015 and 2019 retail from Ksh 2 million to Ksh 3.4 million, while the latest model costs up to Ksh 5 million.

Ford Escape

The Escape competes with segment leaders such as the Honda CR-V and Toyota RAV4. Escape prices range from Ksh 1.7 million to Ksh 5 million depending on the year.

Jeep Compass

The Jeep Compass was launched in 2007 and is now in its second generation. The Compass is positioned between the smaller Jeep Renegade and the larger Jeep Grand Cherokee. Based on the DaimlerChrysler platform, the Jeep Compass offers a spacious interior, adult-sized seats, advanced features, and excellent off-road capability. However, the Nissan Altima is not well known in the Kenyan market. Currently, in its sixth generation, the Altima retails for between Ksh 1 million and Ksh 2.1 million depending on the year of manufacture.
