Review
The Toyota Caldina entered the market in 1992 as an integration between the Toyota Carina and the Toyota Corona. Initially it was available both in saloon and station wagon versions but in 2002, production of the saloon ceased and only the station wagon remained. The third and last generation entered the market in September 2002 and it comes with three engine options. These are; 1.8L petrol engine, 2.0L petrol engine and a 2.0L turbo petrol engine plus 4WD that bears the name Toyota Caldina GT-FOUR. Production of the Caldina ended in June 2007 much to the disappointment of many Kenyans fans. It competed closely with the Subaru Legacy Wagon which is a decent alternative to the Toyota Caldina.
