The Toyota Chaser is a mid-size sedan that was produced for six generations between 1977 and 2001. The Chaser succeeded the Toyota Mark II before it was replaced by the Toyota Verosa which was in turn replaced by the Toyota Mark X. The Toyota Chaser was popular in the Japanese market and was part of the X-series family. It is comfortable to drive around in terms of ride quality and handling stability.

It comes with a chrome plating on the license garnish frame for the Avante series while the horizontal bar of the radiator grille for the Tourer series is dark gray. The Roadley grade comes with special features such as discharge headlamps, 15-inch aluminum wheels, baffled exhaust tailpipes.
