The first generation Toyota Probox, known as the XP50/XP160, was introduced in 2002. In 2014, Probox received a redesign that included the addition of a 1NR-FE engine to power it.  The Mazda Familia Van was a rebadged version of the Probox in Japan.

Boot Space

The 2019 Toyota Probox offers a spacious and well-utilized cargo area thanks to its box-shaped design and flat load floor. Its boot size can be increased by folding the second row of seats.

Exterior

The 2019 Toyota Probox is a boxy car with straight edges, as the name suggests.

The front end has halogen headlamps and a Toyota insignia on the grille, which is not aesthetically pleasing because it is primarily meant for commercial use and hence does not prioritize aesthetics. It features a longer wheelbase which in return results in a roomy cabin either for occupants or even for hauling tons of cargo. The rear features a manually operated tailgate, tail lamps, and turn signals.

Stability And Handling

The 2019 Toyota Probox’s solid drive is one of the key reasons it is considered commercially viable. It has excellent visibility, making it simple and easy to drive. Its steering wheel is simple to use because it responds to road curvature, particularly when approaching tight bends. Traction control is one of the car’s latest technologies that helps it navigate uneven road surfaces.

It also has enough ground clearance to comfortably navigate through speed bumps and other obstacles when not fully loaded. The braking system is up to the challenge because it can bring this car to a complete stop in seconds, reducing the likelihood of an accident.

Its suspension mechanism has been fine-tuned to allow it to haul freight or even people without contention.
