The Toyota Ipsum is a 3-row, 7-seater minivan that entered production in May 1996. It’s based on the Toyota Corona Premio platform and it features normal hinged front doors. The first generation that was in production until 2001 comes with two engine options; 2-Litre petrol engine and a 2.2-Litre turbo diesel engine and available in Automatic Transmission with both 2WD and 4WD options. The second generation that lasted from 2001 to 2009 comes with 2.4L petrol engine and is available in Automatic Transmission with both 2WD and 4WD options. its production ended in December 2009 after an eight year run. There are several alternatives to the Ipsum that you can buy in Kenya such as Toyota Wish, Mazda Premacy, Nissan Lafesta, Subaru Exiga and Honda Stream
