Subaru Levorg Reviews The Subaru Levorg is a medium sized station wagon that has been in production since 2014. It aims to bridge the gap between the bigger sized Legacy Touring Wagon and the smaller sized Impreza. It is yet to make a proper entrance in Kenya due to the 8 year lag in used car imports but we predict it will do well given the popularity of both the Legacy and the Impreza. It’s smaller in length and wheelbase by 100mm and 50mm lower than the 5th generation Legacy Touring. The Subaru Levorg is a dynamic and accelerative car that comes with two engine options that are all turbo charged; a 1.6L FB16 turbo engine and a 2.0L FA20 turbo engine. These are linked to a CVT Lineartronic transmission with manual mode for the 1.6L version and Sports mode for the 2.0L version….

Subaru XV Reviews The Subaru XV is without question the most exceptional small sized SUV we’ve driven in a while. This is by no means a small feat given the stiff competition that includes the Nissan Juke, Mitsubishi RVR, Honda HRV, Nissan Dualis and Toyota C-HR. What sets the XV apart from its competitors is the ingenious Symmetrical All Wheel drive that gives it unparalleled off-road capability The interior of the XV has a modern feel with a well illuminated instrument cluster and dials that are within reach. The seats are well elevated which provides for a natural seating position and an excellent view of the road. At the first row, there is enough room for both driver and passenger to recline. At the second row, the legroom is good for the outer seats but the middle seat is cramped by the transmission tunnel….
Subaru Exiga Reviews It’s common knowledge that Subaru builds some of the most reliable cars globally and the Exiga is no exception. It’s based on the Legacy platform from which it borrows 50% of its components. The Exiga is a 7 seater MPV that was in production from 2008 to 2018. It’s demise was precipitated by the arrival of the Subaru Ascent which the company is positioning as the flagship 7 seater option. The Exiga competes with the Toyota Wish, Mazda Premacy and Nissan Lafesta The Subaru Exiga comes with 3 engine options, these are the 2.0 Litre EJ20 engine, the 2.5 Litre FB25 engine and the 2.0 Litre EJ20 Turbo engine. Subaru Trezia Reviews The Subaru Trezia is a compact hatchback that was in production from 2010 to 2016 and is the same as the Toyota Ractis. In 2008, Subaru entered into a partnership with Toyota and its subsidiary Daihatsu Motors giving it access to Toyota Ractis among others. Consequently, it was rebadged and sold as the Trezia to fill the gap that was left by the Impreza which was upgraded to a higher class. Similar to the Toyota Ractis, the Subaru Trezia employs two engines: a 1.3-Litre 1NR-FE engine and a 1.5L 1NZ-FE engine which only come with a CVT Transmission and are available in either 2WD or 4WD. The grading system is also mirrors that of the Ractis; The Trezia iL equivalent to X in the Ractis, the Trezia iS equivalent to G in the Ractis, the i TYPE EURO equivalent to S…
Subaru Outback Reviews The Subaru Outback has been an all time favorite amongst Kenyans ever since it was introduced to this market back in 2004. In essence the Subaru Outback is the same as the Subaru Legacy save for suspension and engine variations. The Subaru Outback is a very capable off-road vehicle, a fact that is sometimes lost on a casual observer. On the tarmac, there are few station wagons that can keep pace with the Subaru Outback and off the tarmac, it can go toe-to-toe with the best 4x4s. It competes with the Audi Allroad and The Volvo XC70. The Subaru Outback is acclaimed the world over as one of the most reliable cars. The introduction of new technologies such as the SI Drive, SI Cruise, and Eyesight, has added a layer of complexity but overall this does not affect its reliability. These…
Subaru Legacy Reviews The Subaru Legacy is a Japanese automobile that features a symmetrical all-wheel-drive system as standard across all grades. It’s the same as the Subaru Outback in all aspects except the suspension which in the Outback has been raised for off-road performance. The Subaru Legacy is offered both as a station wagon and saloon. The station wagon is known as the Touring Wagon while the saloon is known as the B4. The Legacy competes with the Audi A4, VW Passat, Toyota Mark X, Nissan Teana, Mercedes C Class, BMW 3 Series and Mazda Atenza. With its low center of gravity, the 2013 Subaru Legacy is stable and takes corners at high speeds. The double-wishbone suspension is much more robust than the previous multi-link suspension and it gives the Legacy dynamic handling characteristics. On slippery ground, the Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive maintains excellent traction….
Subaru Impreza Reviews The Impreza has changed by leaps and bounds. The cabin is spacious and modern with a blend of materials such as metal, leather and fabric that give it a touch of luxury. The instrument panel is furnished with LCD displays and switches that are sharp and crystal clear both in daytime and nighttime. The seats are set at a higher position than previous models providing for a good view of the road and easy entry and exit. The legroom has improved greatly and both rows are sufficiently supplied with space. The body size has not changed much except the wheelbase that increased by 25mm. Visually it looks sleeker with a sharper front and flat rear for the hatchback. Higher grades come with 17-Inch alloy rims and fog lights.
