The MX-30 has a spacious interior that accommodates up to five people across two rows. The cabin has used natural and sustainable materials such breathable fabric upholstery made from recycled plastic bottles. The first row seats have enough space to fit two adult  Kenyans however the rear seat have limited head- and legroom and tall occupants will struggle during long distances.

The MX-30 EV comes with many standard features such as an 8.8-inch large center display compatible with Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto, Cruise Control,  heated front seats, Pure White leatherette seats with gray fabric, leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob, frameless auto-dimming rearview mirror, and heated power-folding door mirrors with memory function and turn signal lamps.

Other features include; a 7-inch digital gauge display, power moonroof, eight-way power driver seat with power lumbar support and memory and rearview camera with rear parking sensors.

The MX-30 has a striking design compared to other Mazda SUVs. The front fascia of the MX-30 has a nicely sculpted swooping hood, a small grille, LED headlights with High Beam Con­trol (HBC), LED daytime running lights and fog lights. On the sides there are reverse hinge-style doors similar to those that used in the Hyundai Veloster. The rear end you get Mazda’s signature circular LED tail lights and a rear roof spoil­er in Gloss Black.

The MX-30 is powered by an electric motor supported by a 35.5 kWh battery with a power output of 141 hp and 264 N⋅m torque, offering a range of 209 km. The MX-30 is claimed to get fully recharged within 4.5 hours
