The first generation of the Mazda Premacy codenamed CP launched its production in 1999 and continued up to 2005. The second generation designated as CR was manufactured from 2005 to 2010. The third generation of the Mazda Premacy was designated as CW and it was in production until its discontinuation in 2018.

The 2017 Mazda Premacy comes with two engine options, a 2.0 L (Petrol), and a 2.2 L (Petrol) linked to either a manual or automatic transmission.
