The suspension system is crucial in ensuring that occupants enjoy their ride by cushioning them from abrupt and unstable motions. It is advisable to slow down the minivan when approaching tight curves due to its bulky nature, as it experiences some body roll.

The braking system is robust and capable of bringing the Elgrand to a complete stop in a matter of seconds, which helps to avoid any accidents. Other technologies used for enhancing stability in this car include traction control, electronic brake force distribution, and an anti-lock braking system.
