The Nissan GT-R made its debut in 2007, and it has since undergone several adjustments, alterations, and upgrades to become what it is today. The GT-R is built on the PM platform and boasts novel concepts and technology such as enhanced aerodynamics, an active suspension system, and the ATTESA E-TS Pro all-wheel-drive system, making it the first rear-mounted independent transaxle all-wheel-drive car. It is one of the first automobiles to include launch control and a dual-clutch transmission. The overall body is constructed of steel, aluminum, and carbon fiber.

The 2017 Nissan GT-R comes with one engine option, a 3.8 L V6 twin turbo-charged VR38DETT (Petrol) linked to a 6-speed dual-clutch transmission.

1. Premium- This grade comes with dual-zone climate control, electronic brake force distribution, Bluetooth connectivity, built-in Apps, cruise control, engine start button, internal HD, and a multi-function display screen.
2. Track Edition- This grade features a 12-volt power outlet, power windows, a trip computer, a voice activation system, traction control, chrome door handles, a lip spoiler, vehicle dynamic control, and multiple airbags.

Interior

Legroom & Space

The 2017 Nissan GT-R features a redesigned luxurious cabin that is befitting of a high-performance supercar. It boasts a premium leather interior with hand-stitched embroidery on the dashboard, steering wheel, and door panels.

The first row offers ample legroom and headroom and the seats can recline to fit a desired posture. The second row is only ideal for kids as adults would feel uncomfortable and crampy due to limited knee room and headroom.

Cabin Storage

The 2017 Nissan GT-R encompasses several storage compartments used to store or hold items like soft drinks, documents, keys, and other things. The first row has two cupholders, door pockets, a glove box, and a center console. Second-row occupants have access to a cup holder.

Boot Space

Exterior

The 2017 Nissan GT-R has an overall muscular, sharp, and boxy body design. Although the body is bulkier than its rivals, it provides high downforce and less drag through its smoother airflow over the entire body. Up front, NACA ducts have been fitted to the bonnet to draw in clean air to cool the engine compartment. Side vents in the front fenders also improve airflow around the tires, while cooling the engine. The front bumper edges are sharper and feature air ducts and vents to improve downforce and cool the brakes.

The side profile features a low ground clearance and side skirts which makes the GT-R to be more aesthetically pleasing. The rear end continues the signature four-round taillights of its predecessors. The rear also features air ducts and vents for further brake cooling and generates a smoother airflow to minimize drag. A body-colored rear spoiler, while some special editions have a dry carbon fiber rear spoiler to improve rear downforce.

Stability And Handling

The 2017 Nissan GT-R offers a smoother ride than the outgoing model and the cabin remains much quieter at all speeds thanks to Active Noise Cancellation technology and new sound-absorbing materials, including an acoustic glass windscreen. The steering wheel responds well to road curvature and becomes very firm at high speeds.

The GT-R’s suspension system cushions the occupants from unstable movements. Because it can accelerate very fast in a matter of seconds, it is fitted with robust brakes that can bring it to a halt in a matter of seconds, helping to prevent any kind of mishap. Electronic Brakeforce Distribution, Stability Control, and Cruise Control are fitted to this car to improve stability.
