Stability And Handling
The 2017 Nissan Patrol is a huge SUV that offers a smooth and comfortable ride. The steering wheel is not only telescopic but also power-assisted, so it responds effectively to road bends. The Patrol’s suspension system is finely tuned to cushion the occupants from jerky movements, especially when driving off-road. The cabin is perfectly insulated to prevent unwanted noise from reaching the occupants.
The Patrol’s approach and departure angles allow it to drive effortlessly over extremely difficult terrain without fear of damaging its body components. It is advisable to reduce speed when approaching tight corners as the Patrol tends to roll a little, but this is somehow controlled by the hydraulic body movement, a feature that puts this SUV in a class of its own.
Other technologies featured in this car to improve stability include Intelligent forward collision warning, Intelligent blind spot intervention, Intelligent cruise control, and Intelligent cross-traffic control.
Reliability
The 2017 Nissan Patrol is considered a reliable car. It boasts a high ground clearance that allows it to tackle off-road terrain without fear of jeopardizing its body components. Excessive oil use is one of the most commonly reported issues by Patrol owners. Regular service and maintenance is required to
avoid such kind of problems.
Refer to the Nissan Patrol buyer guide for a thorough reliability report. We also urge that you always follow the instructions in the owner’s manual.

What we like about the 2017 Nissan Patrol
Good towing capacity
Spacious cabin
Good ground clearance
Plenty of power
High-quality interior materials
What we don’t
Some variants are very expensive
It is not fuel-economical
Conclusion
The 2017 Nissan Patrol lives up to its name in terms of off-road performance and towing capacity. The Patrol is a wonderful choice for folks who value space. However, the Patrol is highly pricey and inefficient in terms of fuel economy, so those on a tight budget may be unable to afford this SUV, let alone service and maintenance.
