Just like the Impreza, the XV is based on Subaru’s global platform which gives it more rigidity.
The throttle of the XV is more responsive compared to its previous generations hence it makes it to be more fast especially when driving on highways. Its approach and departure angles plus its symmetrical all-wheel-drive system allow it to exploit off-road terrains without any cause for worry.
Anti-lock braking system, lane departure warning, and adaptive cruise control are some of the technologies incorporated in the XV to enhance its stability.
Reliability
The 2017 Subaru XV is considered a reliable vehicle. It has a good clearance that allows one to drive it in off-road terrains. Excessive oil consumption and engine misfires are some of the most commonly reported problems in the XV. Regular service and maintenance are required to avoid encountering such troubles.
Refer to the Subaru XV buyer guide for a thorough reliability report. We also urge that you always follow the instructions in the owner’s manual.

What we like about the 2017 Subaru XV
Great infotainment system with the latest tech
Big back seat space
Lovely interior
Improved ride and handling
What we don’t
CVT dulls the drive
Small boot space
No front parking sensors
Conclusion
The 2017 Subaru XV is notably a reliable car for folks with small households who value practicality, versatility, and good fuel economy. As much as the majority of people would love to own this car, its high acquisition price limits individuals on a tight budget from owning it, not forgetting its service and maintenance which can also be exorbitant.
