2017 Toyota Passo Review

The Toyota Passo is a subcompact car manufactured by Japanese carmaker Daihatsu and sold under the Toyota brand, hence the other name Daihatsu Boon. According to Daihatsu, the name "Boon" is derived from the English word boon and is also inspired by the sound that Japanese children make when simulating the sound of an automobile, whereas the name "Passo" is Italian for "step." According to Toyota, the moniker conjures up an impression of a relaxed and friendly car. It gained appeal in the Kenyan market because of its outstanding fuel efficiency and convenience. It competes with the Mazda Demio, Toyota Vitz, Honda Fit, Suzuki Waggon R, Subaru Trezia, Nissan Note, and Mitsubishi Colt.
