The Toyota Vellfire’s first version, codenamed ANH20, began manufacturing in 2008 and lasted until 2015. The Alphard, according to Toyota, has an “elegant and sophisticated” design, whilst the Vellfire emphasizes “strength and strong individuality.”

The production of the Vellfire’s second generation, called AGH30, began in 2015 and is still ongoing. The 2017 Toyota Vellfire is available with three engines: a 2.5 L 2AR-FE (petrol), a 3.5 L 2GR-FKS V6 (petrol), and a 2.5 L 2AR-FXE (hybrid), each mated to a 7-speed super CVT-I or an 8-speed automatic transmission.

Interior

Legroom & Space

The interior of the 2017 Toyota Vellfire is both gorgeous and spacious. It can carry six, seven, or eight passengers depending on the trim level.

The first row has lots of legroom and headroom, and the seats can be electronically adjusted to meet a preferred posture. The Vellfire’s second row is equally impressive, with enough room for the head and legs. If more space is required, these seats can be moved forward or backward.

Exterior

A large grille with chrome highlights dominates the front end.
