The Nissan Elgrand’s first version, designated E50, was manufactured from 1997 to 2002. The Elgrand’s second generation, designated E51, began manufacture in 2002 and lasted until 2010. The Nissan Elgrand is now in its third iteration, codenamed E52. This model dropped the rear-wheel drive arrangement of prior versions and shared a platform with the fourth-generation R42H in North America.

Interior

Legroom & Space

The 2018 Nissan Elgrand cabin is spacious and pleasant. The first row offers plenty of legroom and headroom and its heated seats can recline to accommodate a desired posture. The second row features ample headroom and kneeroom. To create more space in the second row, the seats can be pushed forward or backward. The third-row seats are also very comfortable as they feature sufficient headroom and legroom.

Cabin Storage

The 2018 Nissan Elgrand features several storage compartments that are used to improve occupant comfort. The first row has a glove box, door panel storage, a small center console, and two cupholders.
