Spare Parts and Availability

Service parts are affordable and widely available in Kenya. Body parts are also reasonably priced. However, availability varies from town to town.

Stability And Handling

The 2018 Nissan NV200 provides a pleasant and solid ride. It has rack-and-pinion steering, which makes it very responsive to road curvature. Passengers are protected from jerky movements induced by uneven road surfaces by the suspension system. The leaf springs are robust and can transport tons of freight over great distances. It is advisable to reduce speed when approaching tight curves for the van experiences a lot of body roll.

Due to its low ground clearance, its approach and departure angles preclude off-road driving.

The brakes are extremely powerful and can bring this vehicle to a complete halt in seconds, avoiding any mishaps. The engine and transmission system work together to provide a smooth start and good acceleration. Electronic Brakeforce Distribution and Stability Control, are encompassed in this van to improve its stability.

Reliability

The 2018 Nissan NV200 is a reliable van, though off-road driving may put its body components at risk due to its low ground clearance. However, like any other vehicle, it is not without flaws. Transmission problems and faulty sliding doors are the most common issues reported by NV200 owners.

Refer to the Nissan NV200 buyer guide for a thorough reliability report. We also urge that you always follow the instructions in the owner’s manual.
