The Nissan Sylphy is a compact automobile whose popularity in the Kenyan market has skyrocketed due to its remarkable fuel efficiency and cost. It is known as the Almera, Sunny, and Sentra in other markets. It was known as the Nissan Bluebird Sylphy until 2012 when the Bluebird moniker was abandoned. The first generation of the Nissan Sylphy codenamed G10 or N16 in other markets, began production in 2000 and continued until 2005. From 2005 to 2012, the G11 marked the second generation of the Sylphy. The B17 represented the third generation of the Nissan Sylphy and was produced from 2012 to 2019. The Nissan Sylphy is currently in its fourth generation, designated the B18.
