Detailed Review

The initial Toyota Vellfire model, codenamed ANH20, went into production in 2008 and was produced until 2015. Toyota asserts that the Alphard has an “elegant and sophisticated” design, whilst the Vellfire has an emphasis on “strength and strong individuality.”

The second version of the Vellfire, known as the AGH30, started production in 2015 and is still ongoing today. Three engines are offered for the 2018 Toyota Vellfire: a 2.5 L 2AR-FE gasoline engine, a 3.5 L 2GR-FKS V6 gasoline engine, and a 2.5 L 2AR-FXE hybrid engine. Each engine is paired with either an 8-speed automatic transmission or a 7-speed super CVT-I.

Interior

Legroom & Space

The 2018 Toyota Vellfire has a stunning and roomy interior. Depending on the trim level, it may seat six, seven, or eight people.

There is plenty of head and leg room in the front row, and the seats can be automatically modified to accommodate different seating postures. The second row of the Vellfire is equally excellent, with space for the head and legs. These seats can be moved forward or backward if extra room is needed.
