The BMW X5 debuted in 1999 as the E53 model. It had an all-wheel drive and a manual or automatic transmission. The second generation codenamed E70, was introduced in 2006. It incorporated significant improvements such as BMW’s iDrive technology as standard across all models and an optional third row of seats for increased seven-passenger capacity. The F15, which debuted in 2013, was the X5’s third generation. Three new engine options were added, as well as a Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle model (the xDrive40e) powered by a turbocharged four-cylinder engine. The G05 X5 is the X5’s fourth (and current) generation. Interior
Legroom & Space
The 2019 BMW X5 has an outstanding level of workmanship and attention to detail. The interior is large and fitted with luxurious amenities.
Legroom is ample in the first row, and the seats may be adjusted to meet any preferred posture. Legroom and headroom are abundant in the second row. The third row of seats in some BMW X5 models is optional, depending on the buyer’s requirements. They are appropriate for children but uncomfortable for adults.

Cabin Storage
The glove box compartment, a large center console, heated and cooled two cup holders, and bottle storage in the first row are all standard features of the 2019 BMW X5. There are additional bottle holders on the door sides and two cupholders mounted on the armrest in the second row.

Boot Space
The 2019 BMW X5 has 29.3 cubic feet of cargo space with the third row of seats in place and 29.9 cubic feet with the back seats folding. Its tailgate is electronically operated, which is very useful when you have your hands full.

Exterior
