The first generation Ford Everest, codenamed U268/UR, debuted in 2003 and was produced until 2015. It keeps the Ranger’s double wishbone independent front suspension and leaf spring rear suspension while providing improved ride comfort and handling.

The Everest received a significant facelift in 2006, with the entire front and side body panels altered to match the redesign of its base vehicle, the Ranger. A new front fascia, transmission, and engine were also introduced. The revamp also incorporated a new 5-speed automatic transmission.

The second-generation Ford Everest, designated U375/UA, began production in 2015 and will continue until 2022. It has been completely redesigned, with rounder proportions for a more modern appearance. The second-generation Ford Everest is shorter in length than its predecessor, but wider and taller, resulting in a change in proportions. The wheelbase was also shortened.

The Everest was given a facelift in 2018, which featured design changes, an updated equipment list, a new 2.0-liter bi-turbo diesel engine, and a 10-speed automated transmission. Autonomous emergency braking, a standard kick-activated power liftgate, and new alloy wheels are among the other modifications.

The third-generation Ford Everest, codenamed U704/UB, began production in 2022 and is still in production today. The 2019 Ford Ranger comes with two engines: a 2.0 L (Diesel) and a 3.2 L (Diesel), both of which are mated to a 6-speed automated transmission.

7. SPORT (4WD) 7 SEAT- This grade comes equipped with side steps, trailer stability control, rain-sensing wipers, power mirrors with indicators and Android Auto.
8. TITANIUM (4WD) 7 SEAT- This grade is fitted with active high beam control, satellite navigation, reversing camera, fog lights, driver awareness alert, and a Radio CD with 8 speakers.

Interior

Legroom & Space

The interior of the 2019 Ford Everest is pleasant as well as cozy.

The first row has lots of legroom and headroom, and the seats can recline to a comfortable position. The second row is also good, with plenty of head and knee room. Because these seats are long enough, they provide excellent knee support. Because of the limited knee and headroom, the third row may be uncomfortable for adults. It is solely appropriate for children.

The 2019 Ford Everest has a solid and trustworthy driving record. When approaching tight corners, the steering is accurate and responsive.

The suspension system of this mid-size SUV is identical to that of the Ford Ranger, but with a minor improvement that provides better comfort to the passengers within. This vehicle is also well-insulated, so road noise does not reach the occupants.

The brakes are up to the task, bringing this midsize SUV to a complete stop in a couple of seconds and avoiding potential crashes. The engine and transmission work together to deliver a smooth start and decent acceleration.

Reliability

The 2019 Ford Everest is known for its dependability. However, it, like every other car, has flaws. The most often reported complaints in this midsize SUV are transmission issues and engine knocking noises. Regular service and maintenance are required to avoid such issues.

The 2019 Ford Everest can perform very well whether driven in Metropolitan or rural areas because it is available in both (2WD) and (4WD) configurations, allowing owners to pick based on their personal preferences.
