Interior

Legroom & Space

The 2019 Nissan X-Trail boasts a spacious and stunning interior with either five or seven seats depending on the trim level.

The first row offers plenty of legroom and headroom, and the seats can recline to fit any posture. The second row is also impressive, with enough headroom and legroom. The third-row seats are ideal for kids, but adults will find them stifling due to the limited space.

LED daytime running lights and headlights give it a modern appeal. The lower fascia has been restyled, with rectangular fog lights and air vents designed to give the car some aerodynamic cues.

The side profile features sweeping lines that aren’t overly ostentatious. The windows are bordered by a chrome line that runs from the A-pillar to the C-pillar, contributing to the car’s appeal. Roof rails and a panoramic sunroof add to the car’s refinement and grandeur.

The rear encompasses tail lights and turn signals. The tailgate is electronically actuated, hence very convenient especially when your hands are full of cargo.

Spare Parts and Availability

One of the advantages of owning a Nissan is that spare parts and other body components are readily available in metropolitan areas. The X-Trail is no exception.

Stability And Handling

The 2019 Nissan X-Trail offers a smooth and comfortable ride. The steering wheel is very responsive to road curvature, making it easy to control and maneuver when overtaking in traffic. The suspension system is rigid and therefore cushions the occupants from jerky movements caused by uneven road surfaces. However, when approaching tight corners it is advisable to reduce speed as the car experiences a lot of body roll.

The braking system is up to the task and is powerful enough to bring the car to a complete stop in a matter of seconds. The engine works in tandem with the transmission system to provide a smooth start and decent acceleration.

Anti-lock brakes, Hill Descent Control, Hill Holder, and Electronic Brake Force Distribution are other technologies incorporated in this car that are used to improve stability.
