The first generation Range Rover was produced from 1969 to 1993. It was only available in two doors until 1981 when the four-door model was released. The Range Rover was never intended to be a luxury vehicle. The Range Rover was built on a body-on-frame chassis with box section ladders.

The second-generation Range Rover went into production in 1994 and lasted until 2000. This vehicle had a long wheelbase chassis and an upgraded version of the Range Rover V8 engine.

Between 2001 and 2011, the third-generation Range Rover was produced. The components and systems of this version were shared with the BMW 7 Series.

Until 2006, the interiors were mostly unchanged. In 2010, a number of new engines were introduced, including 5-liter variants of the petrol V8 in regular and supercharged forms, as well as revisions to the exterior front and rear lines.

The fourth generation Range Rover began manufacture in 2012 all the way to 2021. Instead of the steel unibody used in the third generation, this version has an all-aluminum monocoque unitary body structure. During this time, the Range Rover hybrid, a diesel-powered hybrid electric, came to light. The Range Rover Plug-in Hybrid, a petrol-powered variant, was released in 2018.

The 2019 Range Rover is available with four engine options: a 2.0 L hybrid, a 3.0 L petrol, a 3.0 L diesel, and a 5.0 L petrol, all of which are coupled to an 8-speed automatic transmission.

Interior

Legroom & Space

The interior of the 2019 Range Rover is gorgeous, starring high-quality materials.

The first-row seats are extremely comfortable and engulf you. There is plenty of space for both the legs and the head.

The second row is also fantastic, with plenty of room to spread out comfortably. This seat can also recline, allowing people to sit in the position they like.

Cabin Storage
