The first Toyota Vellfire model, designated ANH20, was introduced in 2008 and remained in production until 2015. The Alphard, according to Toyota, has an “elegant and sophisticated” design, whilst the Vellfire emphasizes “strength and strong individuality.”

The AGH30, the Vellfire’s second generation, began production in 2015 and is continuing in production today. The 2019 Toyota Vellfire is available with three engines: a 2.5 L 2AR-FE gasoline engine, a 3.5 L 2GR-FKS V6 gasoline engine, and a 2.5 L 2AR-FXE hybrid engine. Each engine is mated to either an 8-speed automatic or a 7-speed super CVT-I transmission.

Interior

Legroom & Space

The cabin of the 2019 Toyota Vellfire is exquisite and spacious. It can seat six, seven, or eight passengers depending on the model.

The front row has lots of head and leg room, and the seats can be automatically adjusted to accommodate different sitting postures. The Vellfire’s second row is as good, with room for the head and legs. If more space is required, these seats can be moved forward or backward.
