The first generation VW Amarok was manufactured from 2010 to 2021. It was propelled by a variety of gasoline engines, including fuel stratified injection (FSI) and turbocharged direct injection (TDI). VW offered two alternative engine combinations in 2012, the 2.0 L TDI and 2.0 L BI-TDI engines both of which could be paired with an 8-speed ZF automatic transmission.

VW’s limited-edition Amarok Dark Label made its debut in 2014. VW introduced an upgraded Amarok series in 2017. The earlier versions’ 2.0L TDI engine has been replaced with a brand-new engine, making this facelift stand out. Volkswagen’s 3.0L TDI V6 engine has replaced the Amarok’s previous four-cylinder engine. The previous most powerful choice, the 2.0 Bi-TDI (Turbocharged Direct Injection) engine, has been replaced by the new V6 TDI engine, which provides up to 23% more power and 28% more torque while using less gasoline and emitting less harmful pollutants.

Rear wheel drive shiftable 4Motion and Permanent 4Motion are two of the three drive ideas available for the Amarok. Interior

Legroom & Space

The 2019 Volkswagen Amarok has a more relaxed yet comfortable overall feel. The quality is excellent, with lovely touchpoints on the inside and an efficient, minimalist layout.

The front row provides plenty of legroom and headroom, as well as seats that can recline. The second row has limited knee room, making taller passengers uncomfortable, especially on longer rides.
