Due to its low ground clearance resulting in a low center of gravity, the Atenza experiences minimal to zero body rolls when cornering. The suspension system strikes a perfect balance between comfort and sportiness.

The driver has excellent visibility and command of the surrounding traffic. Owing to its low ground clearance it is advisable not to drive on off-road terrains as its body components could be damaged. The braking system is quite robust with a high stopping power that can bring this car to a complete stop in a matter of seconds. Other features incorporated in this car to improve its stability include adaptive cruise control, an autonomous emergency brake system, and a rear-cross traffic alert.

Reliability

Mazda has built a reputable track record of producing high-quality, durable, and reliable vehicles. The 2021 Atenza is no different. The powertrains under the hood have been used in past iterations and proved to be reliable. However, like any other vehicle, it is not immune to problems. Transmission issues are the most commonly reported problems. Regular service and maintenance are required to keep this car in optimal condition. Refer to the Mazda Atenza buyer’s guide for a thorough reliability report. We also urge you to always follow the instructions in the owner’s manual.
