The Nissan X-Trail’s first model, the T30, was introduced in 2000 and produced until 2007. The production of the T31, the second generation X-Trail, began in 2007 and lasted until 2013. The T32, the third generation of the X-Trail, went into production in 2013 and stayed until 2021. It ditched the boxy SUV style in favor of an urban crossover look. The fourth generation X-Trail dubbed T33 has been in production from 2021 to the present.
The 2021 Nissan X-Trail comes with four engine options, the 2.0-litre MR20DD, 2.5-litre QR25DE all petrol and the 2.0-litre MR20DD (Hybrid), and a 2.0-liter M9R (Diesel).
