The Toyota Prado has been in production since 1990 and is now in its fifth generation. The first generation, called the J70, was produced from 1990 to 1996, the second generation, called the J90, started production in 1996 and lasted until 2002. The third generation (J120) was produced from 2002 to 2008 and the fourth generation (J150) was produced in 2009 and lasted until 2022. The Toyota Prado is currently in its fifth generation (J250), which began production in 2023.
The 2021 Toyota Prado is available with three engine options; the 2.7L 2TR-FE I4 engine, the 4.0L 1GR-FE V6 engine all petrol, and the 2.8L 1GD-FTV I4-T diesel engine. The engines are mated to either a 5-speed automatic or 6-speed manual transmission.

KAKADU– This trim offers a rear cross-traffic alert, a blind spot monitor, a pre-crash safety system, adaptive cruise control, crawl control, a multi-terrain monitor, a moonroof, and a memory position for a driver’s seat.
TX– The TX grade is fitted with an engine immobilizer, LED headlights, daytime running lights (DRLs), fog lamps, adaptive cruise control, power steering, AUX/USB input socket, a hill holder, and Bluetooth connectivity.

2021 Toyota Land Cruiser Prado Interior, Legroom & Space
The Interior of the 2021 Toyota Prado has been updated and is now more refined than its predecessor. Switches and knobs are large and easy to see, while the main controls are light and easy to use.
The 2021 Prado now has a lower center console, a new digitized instrument cluster, an 8.0-inch infotainment system with smartphone integration, a flush-fitting climate control panel, and new material finishes.
The multimedia system has also been upgraded with faster software and screen response, and it supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
Standard features include; Three-zone climate control, a 14-speaker JBL hi-fi system, satellite navigation, and a USB port.
