Suzuki is really focusing on the small SUVs and going by the Suzuki Ignis, there’s a lot to be excited about. It slots between the Escudo and the Hustler and it’s positioned as the successor to the original Swift. These are cars that are suited for the Kenyan market because of the excellent clearance and off-road capability. The Suzuki Ignis entered the market in 2016 and it’s not made a major entry into this market as yet but this is one car we highly recommend.

On the outside, the Ignis looks like a small version of the Escudo with a unique blend of smooth edges that are accentuated by the roof rails and sporty alloy rims. It has good ground clearance which makes it ideal for use in all road conditions.

The inside is well finished with a touch of modern instruments such as a small touchscreen infortainment and LCD displays. The dashboard comes in two-tone colour and steering wheel audio controls are included in the higher grades. The seats are made of soft fabric and they are comfortable to seat. The legroom is excellent on the first row and tall people will find it comfortable. Similarly, the second row is well spaced but tall people will find it tight.
