The BMW X6 often attracts praise and criticism in equal measure. It's arguably one of the most misunderstood SUVs in the market due to its ambiguous body style. BMW later branded it as a Sports Activity Coupe but the confusion still persists. To some, the X6 is nothing more than a glorified hatchback and to others, it’s a dynamic SUV with outstanding agility and sportiness. The BWM X6 is a five seater coupe SUV that has been in production for three generations from 2008 to present. The first generation known as the E71 was in production from 2008 to 2014, the second generation known as the F16 was in production from 2015 to 2019 and the third generation known as the G06 has been in production from 2020 to present.
The 2014 BMW X6 is built on the X5 platform and they share many components such as the drivetrain and suspension. The X6 aims to tap into the growing market of urban dwellers who desire an SUV styled car that is not necessarily an off-roader.

2014 BMW X6 Interior
The BMW X6 is a spacious car that can comfortably accommodate 5 adults. At the first row, the legroom is excellent and the seats can adjust to fit any desired seating position. At the second row, the legroom is similarly impressive with elevated seats that are comfortable and spacious. All grades come with leather seats.

The BMW X6 has an interesting exterior that’s a cross between a coupe and an SUV which draws admiration and criticism in equal measure. The front resembles the X5 starting from the headlights to the kidney grille. Towards the rear, it morphs into a coupe with a sharply slanting roof.

There are several storage compartments in the cabin that are useful for storing items such as smartphones, beverages, goggles, handbags etc. At the first row there are 4 cup-holders, door panel storage, a glovebox and the center-box.
