The Mercedes C Class has been in production since 1993 and is offered in three body styles; saloon, station wagon, and coupe.

The 2014 C Class is offered in four engine options, both petrol and diesel. These are; The Turbocharged 1.6 Litre 154PS petrol engine, Turbocharged 1.8 Litre 204PS petrol engine, The 6.2 Litre 457PS Petrol engine and the Turbocharged 2.1 Litre diesel engine. All 2015 C-Class models use a 7-speed automatic transmission.

Mercedes Benz C-Class Grades

1. Mercedes Benz C 300– This is the base trim that comes with 17-inch alloy wheels, automatic headlights and wipers, power-folding side mirrors, a 7-inch central display screen Bluetooth phone, and audio connectivity, and an audio system with a CD player, dual USB ports, an SD card reader and HD radio.
2. Mercedes Benz C300d- It comes with 17-inch alloy wheels, automatic headlights and wipers, power-folding side mirrors, a 7-inch central display screen Bluetooth phone and audio connectivity, dual USB ports, an SD card reader, and HD radio.
3. Mercedes Benz C450 AMG- It comes with a V6 engine, 18-inch wheels, upgraded brakes and steering, an adaptive sport-tuned suspension, and sport front seat bolstering.
4. Mercedes Benz AMG C63- It is equipped with a V8 engine and adds 8-inch wheels, a mechanical limited-slip differential, and performance software with a lap timer.
5. Mercedes Benz AMG C 63S– It has the same features as the AMG C 63 but adds red brake calipers, larger front brakes, an electronically controlled limited-slip differential, and active engine mounts.

Legroom & Space

The interior of this machine is well-made, with precision controls and an appealing aesthetic. The controls are simple, and Mercedes’ COMAND electronics interface is our favorite among luxury carmakers since it is the most user-friendly. In the first row, both seats have excellent legroom and can comfortably accommodate tall people. In the second row, the legroom is similarly good, and tall people will find it comfortable.

Cabin Storage
The C-Class is well supplied with storage compartments in the cabin that are useful for storing items such as smartphones, beverages, goggles, handbags, etc. In the first row, there are 4 cup-holders, door panel storage, a storage shelf below the dashboard, a glovebox, and the center box. For the second row, there’s storage on the front seat jacket pockets and door pockets.

Mercedes Benz C-Class Boot Space

The boot space for the saloon is 475 liters which is sufficient to carry luggage for a family of five. The station wagon gets 485 liters of boot space which can be expanded to an impressive 1,500 Litres by folding the rear seats down. The Easy-Pack automatic powered tailgate that can adjust to varying roof heights is very useful for indoor packing spaces.

Safety Features

Standard safety features in the 2014 C Class include antilock brakes, stability and traction control, front side airbags, front pelvic airbags, a driver’s knee airbag, and full-length side curtain airbags.
