The Toyota Noah has been in production for 4 generations. The first generation was in production from 2000 to 2006. The second generation was in production between 2007 and 2014. The third generation was in production from 2014 to 2021 and the fourth generation has been in production from 2022 to present.

The 2017 Toyota Noah is available in two engine options these are the 2.0 L 3ZR-FAE engine and the 1.8 L 2ZR-FXE engine (hybrid). Both are petrol powered. They are also connected to a continuously variable transmission (CVT), which provides smoother and more efficient shifting compared to the traditional automatic transmission in previous models.

2017 Toyota Noah Grades

2017 Toyota Noah X- This is the base trim that comes with 16-inch aluminium alloy wheels, Automatic HID headlights, fog lights, power-sliding rear doors, power tailgate, rear spoiler, roof rails, Three-zone automatic climate control, heated front seats, power-adjustable driver’s seat, third-row 60/40 split-folding bench seat, 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system, Bluetooth connectivity, steering wheel-mounted audio controls and keyless entry and ignition.

2017 Toyota Noah G- This grade adds extra features such as a touchscreen infotainment system, automatic climate control, and keyless entry.

2017 Toyota Noah S- This trim level adds even more features such as LED headlights, a premium audio system, and a rearview camera.

2017 Toyota Noah Hybrid– This trim level includes a hybrid powertrain, which combines a gasoline engine with an electric motor for increased fuel efficiency.

 Interior Legroom & Space

The 2017 Toyota Noah has a spacious interior that can accommodate up to eight passengers. In the first row, the seats are comfortable and provide ample legroom and headroom for passengers. In the second row, the seats are adjustable and provide good legroom, but may be a bit tight for taller passengers. The third-row seats on the other hand are suitable for children or smaller adults and are less comfortable for long-distance journeys.

Cabin Storage

There are several storage compartments in the 2017 Toyota Noah that can be useful for storing items such as smartphones, beverages, goggles, handbags etc. In the first row, there are 4 cup holders, door panel storage, a storage shelf below the dashboard, a glovebox and a center box. For the second row, the only storage is on the front seat jacket pockets. For the third row, there are storage spaces on the side pockets and seat jacket pockets.

Boot Space

The 2017 Toyota Noah has a generous boot space that depends on the number of seats in use. With all seats in place, the Toyota Noah’s boot can carry medium-sized luggage such as boxes and suitcases. However, when the third-row seats are folded down, the space can accommodate bigger cargo such as furniture.

The 2017 Toyota Noah features a box-like modern and sleek design, which reflects its practicality. It has a bold front fascia, which features a large grille and angular headlights that give it a distinctive appearance. Ground Clearance

The Toyota Noah has a ground clearance of 6.4 inches (165mm) when unmodified. This is very low for roads in Kenya and the car will definitely not clear some speed bumps. The Toyota Noah can be mistaken for having a good ground clearance due to its tall height, but this is not the case. 2017 Toyota Noah Stability and Handling

Service parts and suspension parts are readily available. With a monthly budget of about Ksh.6,000/- , you will cover maintenance costs. Body parts such as headlights and side mirrors are somewhat expensive. Used parts generally require negotiations and their prices vary from shop to shop. 2017 Toyota Noah Reliability

Toyota Noah is known for being a well-built and long-lasting vehicle, with many owners reporting no problems even after years of use.
