The Mitsubishi RVR boasts a formidable following in the Kenyan market courtesy of its outstanding fuel efficiency, practicality, and spacious cabin when compared to other sub-compact crossovers. RVR is an abbreviation for Recreational Vehicle Runner. The first two generations were classified as compact multi-purpose vehicles as the models produced from 2010 were categorized as subcompact crossovers. Its rivals include the Nissan Juke, Mazda CX-3, Honda HRV, and Subaru XV.

The Mitsubishi RVR is a sub-compact crossover SUV that boasts a significant following in the Kenyan market owing to its good fuel economy, and ample cargo area, two factors that many people love to put into consideration before buying a car.  The RVR nameplate is an acronym for “Recreational Vehicle Runner”. Its exterior styling largely appeals to the young clientele who are after looks. In other regions, the RVR is marketed as Mitsubishi  ASX or Mitsubishi Outlander Sport. As much as it has the perks of an excellent car, the RVR faces stiff competition from the likes of the Nissan Juke, Mazda CX-3, Honda HRV, and Subaru XV.

The Mitsubishi Pajero has been around for ages and through its iterations, it was more evolutionary than revolutionary. Since its inception in 1982, it has carved a niche as one of the most capable off-road vehicles in the automobile industry. Unfortunately, it was discontinued in 2021 as the manufacturers cited they wanted to change the buyer preference and also its sales were plummeting. Its perfect blend of practicality, reliability, and versatility won the hearts of many people in the Kenyan market. Its rivals include the Land Rover Discovery, Nissan Pathfinder, Toyota Land Cruiser, and Nissan Patrol.
