2013 VW Golf Review
The VW Golf has a long history in Kenya that stretches back to the 70s and initially it was regarded as a reliable car before it took a hit with the arrival of the often misunderstood DSG gearbox. The problem itself is not with the gearbox but rather a user issue that starts from ignorant owners who don't bother to read the Owner's Manual to unqualified road-side mechanics who don't have the right skills to service the car. In summary, the VW Golf is a reliable car and with proper maintenance, it can run for many years without a problem. It competes with the Audi A3, BMW 1 Series, Mercedes A-Class, Mazda Axela, Subaru Impreza, Toyota Auris and the Mitsubishi Galant Fortis Sportback

Ever since it was introduced to the market in 1994, the Toyota RAV4 has been a top selling car. It was the first car to successfully bridge the gap between the big SUVs and the small Compacts. It was by way of the Toyota RAV4 that the world was introduced to the now popular Crossover category and over the years, there have been many competitors but the RAV4 has weathered the storm. In the Kenyan market, it competes with the Honda CR-V, Nissan X-Trail, Subaru Forester, VW Tiguan, Mitsubishi Outlander and Land Rover Freelander.
2010 Toyota Crown Review
The Toyota Crown is an executive Japanese saloon that is built to rival the world's best luxury cars. It has a high degree of refinement not common in Japanese cars and it obviously targets an upscale clientele. It competes with the Lexus LS, Mercedes E-Class, BMW 5 Series, Audi A6, Jaguar XF and Nissan Fuga. In Kenya, the Toyota Crown has historically not been as popular as the Mercedes and BMW but in recent years, it's popularity has been on the rise.
