The Mitsubishi Pajero Sport is a 7-Seater SUV that has been in production for three generation starting from 1996 to present. It is alternatively known as the Shogun Sport and was built on the Pajero platform. The Pajero Sport however does not enjoy as much success in Kenya as other similar sized SUVs such as the Toyota Fortuner and the Toyota Prado. The third generation Pajero Sport comes with three engine options; a 3.0-Litre petrol engine, a 2.4-Litre turbo diesel engine and a 3.0-Litre turbo diesel engine. These are linked to a choice of manual and automatic transmissions and available only in 4WD.

On the inside, the cabin is modern with a piano black dashboard that’s accentuated with modern LED touch displays and illuminated dials. The legroom is good on all three rows and passengers are treated to an executive class cabin. Lower grades come with clothe seats while higher grades come with synthetic leather. The cabin is well insulated against external noise and passengers can enjoy normal conversation even at higher speeds.

The exterior has changed tremendously from the previously bland design to an exquisite curved design that oozes class. At the front, the headlights are narrow and angular accentuating well with the large fog lights and two piece grille. At the rear, the LED taillights blend well with the large flat tailgate.
