The Nissan X-Trail retains the same 2.0-LItre engine from the previous generation but with a few tweaks to improve on fuel efficiency and power. This is actually good news since MR20 engine is bulletproof in terms of reliability and one of the best we’ve seen from Nissan. The only downside is the 2.0-Litre engine is underpowered especially when the car is fully loaded.
