Interior, Legroom & Space

The interior of the 2016 Subaru Forester has enough visual appeal to compete with other affordable crossovers, despite adhering to Subaru’s “less is more” design philosophy. However, it has larger multi-information systems that are easy to use. It is also quiet inside thanks to the added insulation behind the door panels and instrument panel.

Boot Space

The 2016 Forester’s sense of space cargo provides 34.4 cubic feet of space behind the rear seats and 74.7 cubic feet with the rear seatbacks folded. The latter is roughly 4 cubic feet larger than the Honda CR-V, which has been ahead of this class.

 Exterior

The 2016 Forester is an attractive car, slightly less boxy but still an evolutionary variation on the previous generation that prioritizes easy access and outward sight. Several design elements of the ‘16 Forester are shared with the current Subaru Impreza, such as the contoured body sides and the taillight forms. There are fewer dramatic creases, simply moderate fender flares, and the grille and front lamp units now taper and wrap around the vehicle more than before.

Extras: USB Charging Ports, Premium Sound, LCD Displays, Electric/Memory Tailgate, SI DRIVE, Fuel Economy Monitor.

Safety

Standard safety features in the 2016 Forester include; Antilock disc brakes, traction and stability control, front side airbags, side curtain airbags, a driver knee airbag, and a rearview camera. It is also equipped with the Starlink Safety Plus telematics system which includes emergency assistance and automatic collision notification.

What we like about the 2016 Subaru Forester

  1. Powerful acceleration and excellent handling
  2. Spacious interior
  3. Great off-road performance

Conclusion

The 2016 Subaru Forester is a premium SUV with excellent road and off-road performance. It is an outstanding family vehicle with a 5-Star safety certification that will keep your family safe in the event of an accident. Comparable to the Audi Q5, the inside is comfortable and roomy, with a contemporary flair.

In slick circumstances, the Symmetrical All-Wheel-Drive system and X-MODE operate like magic to extricate the Forester from muddy situations in which the RAV4 and CR-V would fail.
